PJ Masks, the popular animated kid’s TV show based on the Les Pyjamasques book series is coming to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall!
PJ Masks is an animated TV series based on the children's picture book series (titled Les Pyjamasques) by French author Romuald Racioppo. It's produced by Canadian multinational media company Entertainment One, French animation studio TeamTO, and French production company Frog Box. The series tells the story of three young friends (Connor, Amaya, and Greg,) who, after putting on their pajamas at night, transform into their dynamic alter egos, Catboy, Owlette and Cekko. They go on night time crime fighting sprees, solve mysteries, and learn valuable lessons along the way. The series debuted on Disney Junior (a subsidiary of the Disney TV network, aimed mainly at children 8 years and under) in 2015 and, after a hit first season, has been renewed for the second season (to be aired in 2018). The PJ Masks live show is a partnership between Entertainment One and stage show production company Round Room Presents. According to Stephen Shaw (the show's lead producer and CEO of Round Room Presents), "PJ Masks is an amazing brand that transfers naturally to the live stage, and we can't wait to delight audiences with this fun and exciting new show."
