Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Australia’s sensational alternative rock and post punk artists are bringing their signature sounds to Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall!

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds was formed in Melbourne (Victoria, Australia) in 1983 by lead singer Nick Cave, multi instrumentalist Mick Harvey, and guitarist Blixa Bargeld. They’ve had a stellar career with 16 studio albums, 4 live albums, 2 compilation albums, 5 video albums, 28 music videos, and 31 singles. 10 of their albums have landed in the top 10 of the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) charts and they’ve received many accolades including an Ivor Novello Awards (for Best Album), 2 MOJO Awards (both for Best Album), and 6 ARIA Awards (for Best Independent Release, Best Adult Contemporary Album, Best Male Artist, Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Best Pop Release). One of their singles (The Ship Song) was included in the Australasian Performing Right Association’s (APRA) Top 30 Australian songs list and in 2007, Nick was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame. In his acceptance speech, he inducted the members of The Bad Seeds after explaining, “I cannot really accept this until we get a few things straight. What I can't figure out is why I am up here and The Bad Seeds aren't?”
